Unfinished Wood Flooring Installation
This wood flooring installation is located at the Courthouse in Sparta, GA in Hancock County.
Not only did we decide to reclaim the astonishing Heart Pine from the old Riverdale Cotton Mill facility, but also purchased one of the old warehouses used to store the textile product developed at Riverdale! With a little elbow grease and TLC, we managed to convert this building into a fully operation, world class wood mill.
The Finish Line
The tail end of the wood mill process is planing the surfaces of the flooring and adding the ‘tongue’ and ‘groove.
Sawmill
The machine responsible for a great portion of the heavy lifting, besides the crane of course, is pictured here. This guy helps get our beams down to workable size for flooring.
